Acceptable use

This acceptable use policy sets out the standards expected from employers, candidates, recruiters, and visitors using Netli recruitment services.

The policy is intended to protect applicants, employers, care providers, and the integrity of the recruitment platform.

Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to anyone accessing or using recruitment pages, job listings, application routes, employer tools, candidate communications, or related support services.

Users must follow this policy alongside any applicable legal, privacy, cookie, and service terms.

Permitted use

  • Use the service only for lawful recruitment, employment, candidate-search, or care-sector workforce purposes.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when posting jobs, submitting applications, or contacting another user.
  • Respect candidate privacy, employer confidentiality, and platform security controls.
  • Use contact details and application information only for legitimate recruitment activity.
  • Comply with employment, equality, data-protection, safeguarding, and advertising laws that apply to your use of the service.

Unacceptable use

  • Posting false, misleading, duplicated, expired, or non-existent roles.
  • Publishing discriminatory, offensive, abusive, harassing, exploitative, or unlawful content.
  • Requesting sensitive personal information unless it is necessary, lawful, and handled securely.
  • Using the service for spam, unsolicited marketing, phishing, malware, scraping, or automated harvesting of data.
  • Impersonating another person or organisation, misrepresenting authority, or hiding the origin of a communication.
  • Attempting to bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, security features, or platform restrictions.
  • Uploading content that infringes intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, or contractual rights.

Content and account standards

Employers are responsible for the accuracy of job descriptions, eligibility requirements, pay information where shown, locations, working patterns, and application instructions.

Candidates are responsible for ensuring that information submitted in applications, CVs, messages, and supporting documents is accurate and not misleading.

  • Keep login details secure and notify Netli if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Do not share accounts or use another user's account without permission.
  • Remove or update content that is no longer accurate.
  • Use professional language in all candidate and employer communications.

Monitoring and enforcement

Netli may review, edit, remove, restrict, or refuse content that appears to breach this policy or create risk for users or the platform.

Where appropriate, Netli may suspend or terminate access, preserve evidence, notify affected parties, or report serious misuse to relevant authorities.

Report a concern

Concerns about misuse, inaccurate listings, suspicious contact, or unsafe recruitment activity should be reported so they can be reviewed.
